Can I buy a vault for my family member directly from you guys?

Baxter Burial Vault is a wholesaler who works in conjunction with Cincinnati area funeral homes. We would be more than happy to help you locate your nearest funeral home to assist you with you burial vault or cremation needs.

Do you work with every funeral home in Cincinnati?

While most funeral homes work with us in one capacity or another, not every funeral home offers our services. However, a family can request that we be the supplier of choice for the burial or cremation of their loved one and most funeral homes will honor their wishes.

Why do I need a burial vault, isn't the casket enough?

Most cemeteries require an outer burial container in order to maintain the stability of the ground above a grave. A burial vault not only accomplishes this, it also offers permanence and peace of mind to a family, knowing that the casket is protected from all subsoil elements, including water, dirt, and insects.

Will I ever see the burial vault?

Where allowed, the cover of the burial vault can usually be seen near the graveside, sometimes on the Wilbert Way® lowering device which not only displays the cover, but also allows the vault to be sealed above ground as part of the ceremony if the family wishes.
